This past Saturday, the picturesque setting of Garland Farms in Johnson City, Tennessee, came alive with the sights and sounds of the 13th Annual Garland Farm Crawfish Boil. The event was not just a feast for the senses, but also a heartfelt initiative to support The Crumley House.
Guests indulged in a flavorful array of crawfish while being serenaded by lively performances from The Twang Bangers and The Bad Apples, creating a festive atmosphere that underscored the spirit of community and generosity.
Jason Walls, the organizer of the Garland Farms Crawfish Boil, emphasized the importance of the event in assisting those in need. “The Crumley House provides crucial support to many in our area who struggle with basic tasks like eating and breathing,” Walls explained. “These are things we often take for granted, but for some, they require the help of dedicated staff and volunteers. It’s an outstanding organization, and I’m thrilled that we can contribute to their mission this year.”
In keeping with its tradition, Garland Farms annually chooses a nonprofit to benefit from the proceeds of the crawfish boil, ensuring that the event not only brings joy to its attendees but also makes a significant impact in the community.
