SAVANNAH, Ga. () – Here is your weekly recap as we inch closer to the opening kickoffs of the NFL and College Football regular seasons.

Atlanta is currently 0-2 in the 2025 preseason with losses to the Detroit Lions and Tennessee Titans.

ATL vs DET: Atlanta finished week one with a 17-10 loss to the Lions that never actually finished. The game was suspended in the fourth quarter following an injury to Lions safety Morice Norris Jr. that required him to leave in an ambulance.

The Falcons 10 points of offense in the game were provided by a touchdown pass from QB Easton Stick to WR Chris Blair in the second quarter. Stick finished the day 13 of 15 for 149 yards through the air. The Atlanta defense was led by LB Josh Woods, who finished the day with seven total tackles, six of them solo and a tackle for loss.

ATL vs TEN: The Falcons second preseason matchup saw them face off against the Tennessee Titans and 2025 #1 overall pick Cam Ward. This one saw offense in all four quarters as the final score was 23-20 in favor of Tennessee.

QB Easton Stick was once again responsible for a majority of the snaps under center as Atlanta’s starting QB, Michael Penix, did not play. Easton was 19 of 32 for 179 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

Both of Atlanta’s touchdowns came in the 3rd quarter. The first was a 43-yard rushing touchdown by RB Nathan Carter. Carter finished the day with nine carries for 63 yards. The Falcons second TD saw Stick connect with Chris Blair for the second week in a row, this time on a pass that went for 52 yards.

Tennessee’s Cam Ward has now seen action in both of the Titans preseason games. He finished the day 2 of 7 for 42 yards. Ward is 7 of 15 for 109 yards through the air this preseason.

Atlanta’s final preseason game will take place Friday, August 22nd, when they go on the road to take on the Dallas Cowboys.
