GIBSON CITY, Ill. (WCIA) – In a collaborative effort to support rural communities, the Illinois Farm Bureau and the Ford County Farm Bureau have come together to provide financial assistance, with Gibson City emerging as a beneficiary.

The Gibson City Restoration Association recently secured a $4,000 grant to aid in the preservation of the historic Burwell Building, located in the heart of downtown. This building stands as the last remaining second-hand store in the area.
