AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. — Residents in Aiken County should take note as the Valley Public Service Authority Water System has issued a boil water advisory effective from Wednesday, May 27. This precautionary measure affects several streets in the area, and residents are urged to exercise caution.
In light of this advisory, customers who have either experienced a disruption in their water service or are noticing reduced water pressure are strongly encouraged to boil their water. It is recommended that water be boiled vigorously for a minimum of one full minute before it is used for drinking or cooking purposes. This guideline remains in place until further notice from the authorities.
