Saint Simons Island man arrested for 10 counts of sexual exploitation of children

GLYNN COUNTY, GA. () — The Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) has arrested and charged a 13-year-old juvenile on July 15.

On Tuesday, GCPD responded to reports of several theft incidents from vehicles in the Somersby Pointe subdivision. After conducting an investigation, officers found that personal properties and a firearm had been stolen.

After neighbors of the area provided camera footage, detectives in the GCPD Criminal Investigations Division identified a 13-year-old juvenile as a suspect.

The juvenile was interviewed and later arrested and now has been charged with two counts of theft by entering an automobile and two counts of possession of a handgun by a person under the age of 18.
