ALLENDALE COUNTY, S.C. () — Allendale-Fairfax High School’s Class 2025 is celebrating its graduation at Tiger Stadium Friday night.

Leaders say the Class of 2025 has shown academic excellence and resilience. Jaylen Outing was named Valedictorian. Arianna Priester received a 2025 Presidential Scholarship.

Several students earned cosmetology licenses before graduation.

The district also honored Andrey Gadson Jr., who tragically passed away on May 19. The school chose to honor his memory by awarding him his high school diploma posthumously. His seat was also draped with the school colors.

Before graduation, The “Put Down the Guns Now Young People” group gave out 160 free gunlocks downtown Allendale.

Founder Jack Logan says people showed up in big numbers. Fifteen students signed a pledge not to pick up guns.

Andrey’s mother, Shakea Aldrich also stopped by.
