GREENE COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Aircraft and automobiles were the talk of the town in Greeneville on Saturday at the annual Wings and Wheels event.
The event showcased unique vehicles to draw in aviation and car enthusiasts. A car show, a fly-in, and plenty of food vendors were on site.
Wings and Wheels is usually scheduled for the fall, but was postponed due to Hurricane Helene.
“So this is Wings in Wheels,” Jeff Taylor, President and CEO of Greene County Partnership, said. “Normally, this is a fall event, but we had to postpone it due to the hurricane. Originally, the Navy was coming back in the fall. And so when we had to cancel, they called. And so we were having the spring version of Wings in Wheels and celebrating our six-month recovery period from Hurricane Helene.”
