Brights Zoo discusses death of spotless giraffe Kipekee, thanks community for condolences

LIMESTONE, Tenn. (WJHL) — In the aftermath of the passing of a unique giraffe named Kipekee, Brights Zoo owner David Bright shared his thoughts with News Channel 11. Kipekee, a rare giraffe without spots, had captured international attention upon her birth.

The zoo revealed that Kipekee passed away at the tender age of two last Wednesday. In an effort to understand the circumstances surrounding her untimely death, Bright has arranged for a necropsy.
