AUGUSTA, Ga. — In response to the tragic stabbing of a student on Monday night, Helms College on Washington Road is stepping up its security measures.

James K. Stiff, President of Helms College, expressed, “Martin was a cherished member of our community, diligently honing his skills as an HVAC technician at our School of Trades. His commitment was driven by the desire to uplift his family. Our hearts and prayers are with Martin’s loved ones during this difficult time.”
