According to reports from The Hill, Savannah Guthrie, a prominent host of the “Today” show, is urging the public for prayers as the quest to locate her missing mother continues.
Nancy Guthrie, aged 84, disappeared on Sunday morning after failing to attend church services near Tucson, Arizona. On Monday evening, the NBC anchor took to Instagram to request her followers’ prayers for her mother’s safe return.
“We believe in prayer. We believe in voices raised in unison, in love, in hope. We believe in goodness,” Guthrie expressed in her heartfelt message. “We believe in humanity. Above all, we believe in Him.”
She continued, expressing gratitude: “Thank you for lifting your prayers with ours for our beloved mom, our dearest Nancy, a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant. Raise your prayers with us and believe with us that she will be lifted by them in this very moment. We need you.”
