In Orange Park, Florida, a young girl’s courageous act saved her mother from a potentially deadly situation. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office reported that on Monday, an 8-year-old intervened by stabbing her grandmother, who was allegedly attempting to murder the child’s mother.

The incident occurred around 3 p.m. when deputies were called to a disturbance in the 600 block of Reese Avenue in the Oakleaf area. The call prompted a swift response from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
