Showers and thunderstorms will persist in the area until around 10 p.m., after which the skies are expected to clear to partly cloudy conditions. Overnight, temperatures will remain warm and humid, dipping into the low 70s throughout the Bay Area.

Following the passage of a weather front on Sunday evening, the start of the week will see this system stalling into Monday and Tuesday. This lingering front brings a slight possibility of occasional showers. During these days, expect low temperatures in the lower 70s, while daytime highs will reach the upper 80s.

On Wednesday, a second front will sweep through, ushering in clearer skies and reducing humidity levels. Morning temperatures will hover around 70 degrees, with afternoon highs continuing in the upper 80s.

As the week progresses into Thursday and Friday, the region will experience cooler mornings, with temperatures ranging from the mid to upper 60s. Despite these cooler starts, the afternoons will warm up to the mid to upper 80s, accompanied by abundant sunshine and lower humidity.

Looking ahead to next weekend, from Saturday through Monday, there is a slight possibility of showers as tropical moisture makes its way from the south. During this period, high temperatures will persist in the upper 80s, with a slight uptick in humidity.

There is a tropical wave moving into the Caribbean and will continue to move westward over the next several days. Development is expected as it moves toward Central America, but is not forecast to impact the United States. This wave has a 70% chance of development over the next seven days and a tropical depression is likely to form by the middle to the end of next week.
