HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — High schools in Hillsborough County are taking decisive action against the growing trend of vaping among teenagers, a concern that has been increasingly highlighted by both educators and students.

In a recent move, the school board has approved a contract aimed at curbing this issue by installing sophisticated vaping detectors in high school bathrooms. These devices are designed not only to identify vaping but also to detect up to 16 different environmental changes, providing a comprehensive tool for maintaining a healthier school environment.
