LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Vanessa, hailing from Virginia, has made history with her extraordinary win on ‘Price is Right,’ achieving the largest single-game prize ever recorded on the show.
Her remarkable victory was featured in the special episode dedicated to Mother’s Day, which aired on Friday.
Vanessa won more than $240,000 in cash and other prizes while playing a BetMGM-branded game called “The Lion’s Share.” The previous highest single-game win in “The Price is Right” came in 2016 when a contestant won $210,000.
“From ‘Come on Down’ to playing ‘The Lion’s Share,’ it all felt so surreal – a dream moment that only kept getting bigger. I was nervous, excited and everything at once. Winning over $200,000 is life changing. I plan to invest wisely, enjoy a little and treat my mom to a special surprise,” said Vanesa.
Combined with winnings from other games, Vanessa’s total winnings for the day surpassed $270,000.
