SAVANNAH, Ga. () — Kingdom Life Fellowship held its Home Buyer’s Workshop on Sunday, Feb. 23.

The event sought to encourage and guide new home buyers with help from lenders, organizations, attorneys, realtors and financial advisors.
The goal for this is really to help people bridge the gap and remove the fear,” said Pastor Charles Robeson. “A lot of people who are in the home ownership pipeline, they also have fear. Some people have fear about going into lending institutions. Some people have fear about banks. What we’ve done in this workshop is we bring all of the entities to you.”
Robeson highlighted the disparity between new renters and new buyers.
“A lot of people are renting and don’t even know they can buy a home. The reality is when you’re renting, you’re not improving your financial situation.”
Multiple organizations, including Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity, were represented at the workshop. Zerik Samples, CEO of the non-profit, said he was “elated” that Kingdom Life asked for their participation.
“They’re truly living out the scripture that says ‘people perish for the lack of knowledge’,” Samples said.
