GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Robert Brian Puleo, Jr., 39, was arrested late last night and charged with two counts of aggravated assault after allegedly threatening two other people with a machete.
Puleo allegedly approached one of the victims with a machete at about 10:15 p.m. last night while threatening to harm both of them for stealing items from his tent while he was gone. One of the victims reportedly picked up an axe to defend himself.

Post Miranda, Puleo reportedly admitted walking toward the victims with a machete because he thought they stole some of his possessions.
Puleo is still in the Alachua County Jail; bail information is unavailable on weekends.
