CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — On Friday night, the downtown plaza in Champaign became a vibrant stage for a remarkable showcase: students from around the county unveiled their self-produced original music.
The Illinois Hip Hop Camp, a weeklong program, offered these budding artists the chance to write, produce, and perform their own songs, guided by experienced industry counselors. The week culminated in a live performance at Champaign’s Friday Night Live event, where campers took the spotlight.
