A new resource has been launched in Illinois to assist parents and caregivers in navigating concerns surrounding a recent infant formula recall. The state has introduced a dedicated hotline to address inquiries about the recalled ByHeart infant formula.

This action comes after more than 30 infants across 15 states were hospitalized due to infantile botulism, a severe condition linked to the consumption of the recalled formula. Symptoms of infant botulism include constipation, poor feeding, a weak cry, loss of head control, or difficulty breathing.
