Illinois crumbles in Madison, falls 27-10 to Wisconsin

In Madison, Wisconsin, the Illinois football team struggled at Camp Randall, managing only one touchdown while conceding 27 points to the Wisconsin Badgers.

The Badgers, typically scoring an average of 12 points per game, exceeded expectations by reaching the end zone three times. Illinois’ sole touchdown was a short run by Luke Altmyer midway through the second quarter.

Illinois moves to 7-4 before the last game of the regular season, returning home in hopes of defending the Land of Lincoln Hat Trophy against Northwestern on Saturday, November 29 at 6:30 p.m.
