Drivers heading northbound directed to merge off interstate at exit 352 to SR-40

Crash closes all northbound lanes of I-75 in Marion County (Copyright 2025 by WKMG ClickOrlando – All rights reserved.)

MARION COUNTY, Fla. – A multi-vehicle crash has all northbound lanes of Interstate 75 shut down in Marion County on Wednesday evening, according to a news release.

Officials from the FDOT said the crash was reported in the northbound lanes of I-75 in the area of exit 352 and State Road 40.

Drivers heading northbound on I-75 are directed to merge off the interstate at exit 352 to S.R. 40, then follow these steps:

  • Head eastbound on S.R. 40.

  • Turn left onto northbound U.S. 301

  • Turn left onto westbound U.S. 27, and continue westbound on U.S. 27 until reaching the I-75 northbound on ramp.

Recommended detour off of I-75 in Marion County (FDOT)

Traffic cameras in the area shows what looks like the cab of a tractor-trailer stretched across the interstate.
