INDIAN ROCKS BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — The era of complimentary parking at Indian Rocks Beach has come to an end. A total of 182 parking spots along the coastline will be equipped with ParkPoint systems.

During a meeting on December 9, city commissioners greenlit a pilot program set to launch in 2026. The decision was driven by the need to cover the costs of ongoing infrastructure projects and repair efforts following the damage from hurricanes Milton and Helene.
