ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (WJHL) — An investigation into loan fraud led to the arrest of three individuals and temporarily placed Elizabethton High School on lockdown.

The Elizabethton Police Department apprehended Marquis Harris from Riverdale, Georgia; George King Jr. from New York City; and Michael Porter from the Bronx, New York, on Tuesday.

Authorities began looking into the case after Northeast Community Credit Union reported potential loan fraud on February 10. The Elizabethton Police collaborated closely with the Johnson City Police Department throughout the investigation.
