NEW ORLEANS (NEXSTAR) — Taylor Swift arrived early in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX and has already been spotted out and about with boyfriend Travis Kelce and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Swift made headlines last year when she flew from Tokyo to Las Vegas after a concert to support Kelce. This year, she arrived in New Orleans with time to spare, enjoying a dinner Friday night at the popular French restaurant Lilette.
“I was with a friend eating dinner when Joe Montana walked back to say hello to some ‘special guests,’” recalled New Orleans resident Geoff Jacques, who witnessed the buzz at Lilette and sent us video to share.
The restaurant was reportedly filled with celebrities, including Montana and actress Jennifer Coolidge, although they were not seated with Swift’s group.
As word spread about Swift’s presence, a small crowd gathered outside the restaurant, cheering and recording videos as she and Kelce left around 10 p.m.
Already in town, she is expected to attend the Chiefs’ game against the Philadelphia Eagles at Caesars Superdome.
She’s also expected to, again, be in a star-studded suite. Last year, Swift was joined by Kelce’s family in the suite (which Travis reportedly purchased), as well as her own parents and members of her “inner circle” — actor Blake Lively, rapper Ice Spice, Ice Spice’s producer RIOTUSA, and stylist and designer Ashley Avignone.
It’s unclear who will be sitting near Swift for the Super Bowl, so stay tuned.
