Jasper Co. Sheriff's Office arrests 2 in undercover operation

JASPER COUNTY, S.C. () — The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET) arrested two men on Friday in an undercover operation.

During a narcotics investigation, NET officers made contact with Jermaine Brisbane, 52, and agreed to meet with him at a truck stop in Coosawhatchie. Brisbane arrived, accompanied by Larry Belcher, 35, to purchase drugs.

Both men were taken into custody without incident and charged.

Brisbane was charged with conspiracy to possess fentanyl, conspiracy to possess cocaine, conspiracy to possess methamphetamines and three outstanding Family Court Bench Warrants.

Belcher was charged with possession of methamphetamines, conspiracy to possess fentanyl and conspiracy to possess cocaine.
