ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Emmy-winning comedian and writer John Mulaney is bringing his Mister Whatever tour to St. Petersburg this December — and due to overwhelming demand, he’s now set to perform two shows at the Duke Energy Center for the Arts – Mahaffey Theater.

The standup shows are scheduled for Monday, Dec. 8, and Tuesday, Dec. 9, both starting at 7:30 p.m. at the theater located at 400 1st St. S. Tickets are on sale now at themahaffey.com.

Mulaney is fresh off the debut season of his critically acclaimed Netflix variety show, Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney, and this tour marks his return to the standup stage following the success of his 2023 Emmy Award-winning special Baby J. The deeply personal special earned him a 2023 Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special and a 2024 Critics Choice Award for Best Comedy Special.

Known for his sharp wit, self-deprecating humor and storytelling style, Mulaney rose to prominence as a writer and performer on Saturday Night Live, and has since headlined sold-out shows across the country, including Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl.

Fans attending the Mister Whatever tour can expect fresh material and Mulaney’s signature blend of candor and comedy — often drawing from his own life, including recovery and fatherhood.

Tickets and event details are available at themahaffey.com. On-site parking is available.
