SAVANNAH, Ga. – In an effort to make mammograms more accessible, the St. Joseph’s Candler mobile mammography unit is stationed today at a convenient location, offering screenings to those who have pre-scheduled appointments.

The unit is set up outside a central location throughout the day, providing an easy option for individuals seeking this important health check-up. Although many slots have been filled, there may still be opportunities to book a last-minute appointment.

The mobile unit is stationed at 1430 East Victory Drive, right across from the historic Grayson Stadium. If you find yourself unable to visit today, do not worry. You can call 912-819-6800 to arrange a mammogram screening at a different time and place that suits your schedule.

In addition, there is a special phone bank running from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., courtesy of St. Joseph’s Candler. It’s a chance to get answers to any questions you might have, schedule an appointment, or even contribute to the Telfair Mammography fund. Simply dial 912-644-6852 to connect with a team member.

For those who prefer the convenience of texting, you can support the cause by texting “PTTP” to 50155 to make a donation at any moment. Your contributions can help make a significant difference.

has partnered this October for Paint The Town Pink with St. Joseph’s Candler and Savannah Morning News.
