Kingsport Coonhound Triumphs at Prestigious New York Dog Show

In a remarkable achievement, Danielle Lyons, a dedicated dog spa owner and breeder from Kingsport, Tennessee, has made her mark at the prestigious 150th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York. Lyons, who specializes in Black and Tan Coonhounds, saw her canine companions secure two notable victories during the event.

The star of the show was Rocker, one of the coonhounds from Lyons’ initial breeding efforts, who proudly clinched the title of Best of Breed. Alongside Rocker’s triumph, his half-sister Denim also shone brightly, winning the award for Best of Opposite Sex. These accolades highlight the exceptional breeding program Lyons has cultivated with her first two litters.
