The world feels a little dimmer without him — but I know I’ll see my best friend again someday.”

“Floribama Shore,” a spin-off of MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” aired on the network from 2017 to 2021. Medas was a cast member for all four of the show’s seasons.

What is necrotizing pancreatitis?

Cleveland Clinic explains that necrotizing pancreatitis is “when pancreatitis inflammation is so severe that it causes tissue death (necrosis).” This can cause a battery of issues, according to the clinic.

Short-term complications include infection, which the clinic says occurs in up to 20% of cases, in addition to hemorrhaging and fluid collections in the surrounding tissues of the pancreas.

The clinic says that necrotizing pancreatitis happens in about 20% of pancreatitis cases. The organization says acute pancreatitis causes about 275,000 hospital stays in the U.S. per year.
