ORLANDO, Fla. – The rise of electric transportation is unmistakable, with e-bikes and e-scooters becoming increasingly visible on our streets, in our communities, and even at the center of some lively debates in local government meetings.

Given their growing prevalence, it seems like the perfect moment to delve into what makes these two modes of transport so appealing and widely adopted. E-bikes and e-scooters have surged in popularity due to their fun nature, cost-effectiveness, and sheer convenience. Yet, like all vehicles, they come with their own set of rules and expectations, along with a few commonsense tips that everyone should be aware of.

Today, let’s explore what sets e-bikes and e-scooters apart, what regulations govern their use, and, naturally, I’ll share some personal insights on traffic safety, a topic I’m particularly passionate about.

Join me as we navigate the do’s and don’ts of riding e-bikes and e-scooters, delve into the nuances of smart and safe riding, and consider how we can contribute to making our roadways a little less hectic for everyone.
