ST. CLOUD, Fla. – When it comes to community engagement, the St. Cloud Police Department continues to raise the bar and today, they’re swapping badges for water blasters.

In the heart of summer, while most are searching for shade, the St. Cloud police are diving into something far cooler. As part of their commitment to building strong, positive relationships with the youth in their city, officers are taking part in an all-out water gun battle with local kids attending a summer camp. That’s right, full uniforms, squad cars and super soakers.

This playful face-off isn’t just about cooling off, it’s a creative way to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the next generation. It’s moments like these that show the community-focused heart of St. Cloud’s finest.

Expect no mercy on the battlefield today. These officers will be rolling in fully loaded, but waiting for them is a squad of determined campers, ready to defend their turf with splash power of their own.

Join us at 10 a.m. for a behind-the-scenes look at the pre-battle pep talk and the drive into action.

It’s Friday. It’s hot. And this is one summer showdown you don’t want to miss.
