In the latest edition of Your Hometown Roadtrip, we had the pleasure of chatting with Mellissa, who shared insights into her journey and the heartfelt support she’s received since launching her business.
Discovering Sugar Babes
“Sugar Babes is more than just a bakery,” Mellissa explained. “It’s a dream come true for me. I’ve always had a love for baking and cooking. When the opportunity arose to purchase this building, the idea of opening a bakery naturally fell into place. So, we decided to give it a new life.”
Among the many offerings at Sugar Babes, it seems their cinnamon rolls have captured the hearts and taste buds of their customers, becoming a standout favorite.
What are some other things I should have?
“Blueberry muffins is one of our number one sellers, and brownies. I do cakes, pies, pretty much any kind of sweet.”
When do you want for people after they leave?
“I want a smile on their face.”
The folks at Sugar Babes are no strangers to Your Hometown Roadtrip. On a previous episode, they were featured for their other job of being the caretakers at Graves Mountain.
The team was very happy reconnect with the family and wishes them luck on their latest business adventure.
