Major Aiken Drug Bust Uncovers $33K and Narcotics; Authorities Seek Suspect

AIKEN, S.C. – On February 2nd, investigators from the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, alongside their Special Operations team, executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 2900 block of Pickens Ave in Aiken. This action was part of an ongoing investigation into illegal narcotics activities.

During the operation, law enforcement successfully seized various items related to the case:

  • around 400 grams of meth
  • about 100 grams of marijuana
  • several doses of ecstasy
  • approximately $33,000

The authorities have issued arrest warrants and are actively seeking Reginald Fatai Singleton, a 48-year-old resident of Aiken.

Singleton is expected to face charges that include:

  • trafficking methamphetamine 200 to 400 grams
  • possession with intent to distribute marijuana
  • possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance schedule I – III (Ecstasy/MDMA) possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance within a ½ mile proximity of a school.

The sheriff’s office emphasizes the importance of community input, which can significantly aid in the progress of such investigations.
