In Bulloch County, Georgia, a concerted effort by multiple law enforcement agencies has culminated in the arrest of two individuals tied to methamphetamine distribution and theft activities. This operation underscores the commitment of local authorities to tackle drug-related crimes in the community.

The investigation reached a pivotal moment on January 29 when Jace Best, a resident of Sylvania, Georgia, was apprehended at a home in Screven County. The arrest was made possible through the collaboration with the Screven County Sheriff’s Office. Following his capture, Best was promptly taken to the Bulloch County Jail, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing investigation.

Meanwhile, Williams Cody Sparks, hailing from Portal, Georgia, attempted to evade law enforcement in the wake of Best’s arrest. Sparks managed to flee from Bulloch County, temporarily eluding capture.

However, law enforcement’s diligence paid off when, on February 5, investigators received intelligence that Sparks would be making his way back to Bulloch County that evening. Utilizing the advanced Flock license plate reader system, officers successfully identified the vehicle Sparks was driving, leading to a strategic traffic stop.

In a final attempt to escape, Sparks fled the scene on foot but was quickly captured and subsequently taken into custody at the Bulloch County Jail. This arrest marks a significant victory for the local authorities in their ongoing fight against drug distribution and related offenses.
