In Clark County, Illinois, a significant bridge replacement project has commenced near Marshall, leading to temporary changes in traffic patterns on Interstate 70.
The bridge in question is situated on the westbound lanes approximately 2.5 miles east of Marshall. According to the Illinois Department of Transportation, this construction requires westbound vehicles to use the eastbound passing lane. To ensure safety, one lane will remain open in each direction, with a barrier installed to separate the eastbound and westbound traffic flows.
