Man arrested for felony public indecency, RCSO seeking additional information

AUGUSTA, Ga. () – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man on two felony counts of public indecency on Wednesday, after videos circulated on social media.

Police arrested 58-year-old Timothy Kevin Marcus without incident shortly after 4 p.m. on Jan. 8, according to the sheriff’s office. Marcus is being held at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.

On Marcus’ arrest, RCSO released the following statement: “The Sheriff’s Office is aware of the online social media footage circulating and is requesting that anyone with direct footage or additional information regarding any specific incident provide this information via email to the Sheriff’s Office, Contact: pio@augustaga.gov.”

“I would like to thank our media partners and the citizens who provided the critical information that allowed us to swiftly apprehend this suspect,” said Sheriff Eugene Brantley.
