The “No Kings in Culpeper” demonstration was held in front a local Walmart location and police said as the protest was wrapping up, people were crossing the parking lot when Checklick “intentionally accelerated his vehicle into the dispersing crowd.”

Although officers said the SUV hit one person, they had not received a report that anyone was hurt as of late Saturday afternoon.
