Mosheim man indicted on second-degree murder charge

GREENE COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — A Mosheim man accused of killing his father was indicted by a grand jury on Monday.

Court documents obtained by News Channel 11 state a Greene County jury has indicted Guy Bunch for second-degree murder.

On Feb. 13, 2024, Guy Bunch was arrested for the alleged murder of his father, Anthony Bunch.

Mosheim police previously reported they responded to a home on Shady Grove Lane after a 911 call and later charged Bunch with second-degree murder.

Guy Bunch told dispatchers that he and his father “were wrestling and he had put him in a headlock,” according to an affidavit.

Bunch is scheduled to appear in court on March 31 at 8:30 a.m.
