Savannah man reportedly beaten by 2 men pretending to be Amazon delivery drivers

SAVANNAH, Ga. () — A man had to be taken to the hospital after he was reportedly beaten by two men during a home invasion on Saturday morning, officials said.

The incident happened in the 500 block of Price Street at 8:20 a.m., a Savannah Police Department (SPD) spokesperson said.

According to a GoFundMe, Dirk, who is a bartender at O’Connell’s Pub, was attacked by two men pretending to be Amazon delivery drivers.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being treated on the scene.

SPD said that the incident is being investigated, and no arrests have been made.

The GoFundMe, labeled as a medical fundraiser, has raised over $4,600 so far.
