Man, woman killed in motorcycle crash in Flagler County

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A man and woman were killed Monday night in a motorcycle crash in Flagler County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The double fatal crash happened around 7:20 p.m. on Seminole Woods Boulevard near Sesame Boulevard.

The FHP said a 58-year-old New Jersey man was driving the motorcycle north on Seminole Woods Boulevard when the bike left the roadway, went into the center grass median and struck a tree.

The man and his passenger, a 36-year-old New Jersey woman, were ejected from the bike, the FHP said.

A short time later, a car driven by an 18-year-old Palm Coast man struck the man who was lying in the southbound lanes of Seminole Woods Boulevard, according to an FHP crash report.

The motorcyclist and his passenger were pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.

The car driver and his passenger, an 18-year-old Palm Coast woman, were not injured, the FHP said.
