Mattoon firefighters put out shed fire within minutes

MATTOON, Ill. (WCIA) — In the early hours of Friday, Mattoon firefighters swiftly extinguished a blaze that erupted in a shed.

Fire Chief Jeff Hilligoss reported that at approximately 4:07 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to the vicinity of 32nd Street and Marshall Avenue following alerts of a potential structure fire.
