DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — A home improvement store in Danville is asking customers to pitch in for pets in their city.

The Menards on W Newell Road is accepting donations for the Danville Humane Society. People can donate pet food, toys or cleaning supplies to help replenish their storage. The donation drive runs until May 31.

This isn’t the first time the organizations have worked together, and Menards is excited to keep it going.

“They’ve been very thankful,” said Menards General Manager Cody Dickrell. “Last year I personally delivered the supplies to them, and it was very enjoyable just being able to help out.”

They have a drop off bucket at the front of the store. People can bring in supplies they get at Menards, their homes or even from other stores.
