BOONE COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A 20-year-old has been charged after he was allegedly found in a 13-year-old girl’s bedroom by her father on Monday.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), authorities went to the 700 block of Brittany Trail in Florence at 12:33 a.m. on April 28 after a report of a shooting.

A news release said a father called, saying he woke up hearing noises coming from his daughter’s room. When he checked her room, he allegedly found 20-year-old Parker D. Kramer, of Louisville, naked on the child’s floor.

BCSO said the father told Kramer he was calling the police before grabbing a gun.

After getting the gun, Kramer fled past the father and out the front door.

The father reportedly fired three shots into the ground.

The sheriff’s office said authorities later found a vehicle parked on a nearby street, and the father identified Kramer as the suspect based on a driver’s license photo attached to the vehicle’s registration.

The news release said an aerial search located Kramer around 2:34 a.m. near Mt. Zion Road and I-75.

During an interview, Kramer allegedly told authorities he drove from Louisville to meet the girl at her home and reportedly made other claims that resulted in rape and sodomy charges.

Kramer is charged with:

  • One count of second-degree burglary
  • Two counts of second-degree rape
  • One count of second-degree sodomy

He is lodged in the Boone County Jail with a $250,000 bond.
