The National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, located in Pooler, Georgia, has been honored with the title of Best Museum in the 2025 Best of Georgia Awards, as announced on Thursday. This prestigious accolade, bestowed annually by the Georgia Business Journal, celebrates the museum’s unwavering dedication to preserving the storied history and enduring legacy of the Eighth Air Force.

Selected through a public voting process, the museum outshone more than 30 other contenders from across the state to claim the coveted top spot.
