CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Amazon’s second Project Kuiper satellite mission is scheduled to launch from the Florida coast.
United Launch Alliance said that the Atlas V rocket that will 27 satellites into low Earth orbit scheduled to liftoff from Space Launch Complex-41 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Monday at 1:25 p.m.
“Its mission is to provide fast, reliable internet to customers around the world, including those in unserved and underserved communities, using a constellation of more than 3,200 LEO satellites,” the space agency said.
Amazon’s inaugural Project Kuiper launched on Monday, April 28.

The launch will bring Amazon’s total constellation size to 54 satellites.
United Launch Alliance rolled out the high-performance Atlas V 551 rocket to Space Launch Complex-41 today for Amazon’s Kuiper 2 mission. We plan to light the engines and take Project Kuiper’s next 27 satellites into low Earth orbit on Monday at 1:25 p.m. EDT (1725 UTC).
