NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. () – North Augusta ushered in the holiday spirit with a vibrant Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Tuesday evening.
The much-anticipated annual event lit up Calhoun Park at 5 p.m. on December 2, marking the official start of the festive season.
As stores and streets gleamed with festive lights, a trolley offered complimentary rides, allowing families to enjoy the town’s enchanting atmosphere. A large turnout of families added to the community’s warmth and excitement.
“We’re really enjoying spending time with everyone, even though it’s a bit chilly. It’s the season for love and celebration,” expressed Porsche Mayweather.
Shelley and Tyler, who attended with their family, noted, “This event truly brings people together. December is full of activities, and the city does a great job hosting them.”
There was also a Cocoa and Cookie Crawl around downtown at the same time.
