In a shocking incident at Old Dominion University on Thursday morning, law enforcement sources have identified Mohamed Jalloh, previously convicted for supporting ISIS, as the gunman responsible for a shooting that left one person dead and injured two others. Senior officials confirmed these details to NBC News.

Jalloh, a 36-year-old resident of Sterling, was also found dead at the scene, authorities reported.

Old Dominion University Police Chief Shelton updated the public Thursday afternoon, revealing that the two individuals who were wounded are currently in stable condition. He noted that officers discovered the suspect deceased when they responded to the scene at approximately 10:50 a.m.
