Orange County Shooting: Suspect Arrested Following Man’s Injury

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A man in his 30s was hospitalized following a shooting incident on Monday afternoon, as reported by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities were called to the scene around 3:25 p.m. at the 4900 block of Native Dancer Lane in response to the shooting.

Upon their arrival, deputies found the victim, who was promptly transported to a hospital. Fortunately, his injuries were not life-threatening.

In the aftermath of the shooting, the suspect fled into a nearby wooded area. However, law enforcement successfully located and apprehended the individual shortly thereafter.

Deputies said the suspect ran into a nearby wooded area, but was located and taken into custody.

According to the sheriff’s office, there is no additional threat to the community.

The investigation is ongoing, deputies said.
