Orlando Early Voting Kicks Off: Essential Information for Local Election Voters

ORLANDO, Fla. – As Central Florida gears up for elections on Tuesday, Nov. 4, several municipalities initiated early voting on Monday, offering residents a head start in casting their ballots.

Orlando stands out among these cities, with elections being held for three city council positions.

Voters residing in Districts 1, 3, and 5 can take advantage of early voting at the Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office on Kaley Street, with the opportunity available until Sunday, Nov. 2.

Early voting is open during the following hours:

  • Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

To see if you are eligible to vote in one of these elections, head to the supervisor of elections website to check your voter registration.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Regular polling places will be open.

If you are voting by mail, you need to have your ballot in to the supervisor’s office by 7 p.m. on Election Night.

Districts up for election

Orlando City Council District 1 includes the communities of Lake Nona, Lee Vista, Sunbridge and neighborhoods around Boggy Creek Road and Narcoossee Road.

Incumbent Commissioner Jim Gray is facing three challengers:

Orlando City Council District 3 includes the communities of College Park, Baldwin Park, Audubon Park, and Rosemont.

Orlando City Council District 5 includes part of downtown Orlando, Parramore, Mercy Drive, Rock Lake, Lake Mann Estates, Malibu Groves and MetroWest.
