TAMPA, Fla. – The 34th annual Outdoors Expo & Boat Show had something for everyone, from dozens of boats to RVs, spas, jet skis and more.
The annual News Channel 8 Outdoors Expo & Boat Show was a collaboration with Armature Works in downtown Tampa to showcase the hottest vessels, gear, apparel and supplies for summer.
“This is a one-stop shop. If you’re in the market. You know what, sandbar season, it’s coming soon everybody and you need to get out here and get yourself something to get out there and post up on the sandbar with your best friend,” said St. 1st Class Michael Eschenfelder with the Florida Army National Guard.
The 400,000 square foot event space along the Hillsborough River was chock-full of everything an outdoor lover needs, for both sand and sea.
“Good stuff. I’m trying to talk him into letting me get a boat. Lots of talking still going on there,” said visitor Mark Harris.
This free event gave the perfect excuse to not only explore boat options but also take part in family-friendly activities and meet with dozens of expert vendors. Visitors said it had way more than they were looking for.
“Well, it’s the first time we’ve come down to Armature Works. Everybody’s real nice, personable. Lots of great information,” said Harris.
The Outdoors Expo & Boat Show kicked off on Friday and ended Sunday.
