Two charged in Richmond County after drug investigation

AUGUSTA, Ga. () – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office have charged two men Thursday after a drug investigation that began in August 2025.

Leory Jenkins Jr. and Ronnie Malek Joseph Bradford are being charged with the following:

  • Possession of Marijuana with Intent
  • Possession of Oxycodone with Intent
  • Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Crime
  • Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon

According to police, a search warrant was executed at a residence on the 2600 block of Brookshire Road. The RCSO Gang Unit, Narcotics Division, Crime Suppression Team, K-9 Unit and Georgia Attorney General’s Office Gang Prosecution Unit were all involved in executing the search.

During the investigation, investigators said they located approximately 306.72 grams of marijuana, approximately 27 oxycodone pills. and nine firearms with several accessories.

Sheriff Eugene Brantley released a statement on the arrests, which reads in part, “I am proud of our Gang Investigators and grateful for the continued partnership with the state to problem solve and protect our community.”
